Chapter 625: A Mini Garion Appeared
Chapter 625: A Mini Garion Appeared
Rachel’s warm pink-gold aura slowly spread across the wild ground, making the air around them feel softer despite the roaring storms in the distance.
Garion looked at her for a long moment.
There were so many things he wanted to say. But in the end, only one thing came out. "Rachel..."
Rachel turned toward him gently. "Hm?"
Garion’s expression became complicated. "About Giselle..."
The moment he said that name, Rachel’s eyes softened immediately.
Garion clenched his fists slightly. "Atlas said she has grown."
Rachel paused.
Dahlia quietly looked away, sensing the mood changing again.
Garion’s voice became heavier. "Five years passed while we were asleep. I thought she was still a baby. I thought I could still see everything from the beginning."
He looked down, his jaw tightening. "But I missed it."
Rachel looked at him silently.
Garion laughed bitterly. "Her first words, her first steps, the first time she called me Father... I missed all of it."
For once, Garion’s usual shameless confidence was nowhere to be seen.
He looked like a father who had just realized something precious had been stolen from him.
Rachel slowly stepped forward.
Then she placed one hand over his clenched fist. "Garion."
He looked at her.
Rachel smiled softly. "Don’t worry about that."
Garion froze slightly. "Rachel..."
"She is still our daughter," Rachel said gently. "Even if we missed some years, that doesn’t mean we lost her."
Her smile became warmer. "We can still teach her many things. We can still watch her grow from now on. We can still be there for her."
Garion’s eyes trembled slightly.
Rachel continued, "Maybe we missed her baby years, but she still needs her father. She still needs her mother."
Then she gave him a teasing look. "And considering she is your daughter, I’m sure she’ll need plenty of guidance before she causes trouble."
Dahlia coughed lightly. "That sounds very possible."
Garion looked at Dahlia. "Hey."
Dahlia immediately looked away. "I said nothing."
Rachel laughed softly.
Garion stared at Rachel for a few seconds before slowly nodding. "Yeah."
His expression softened. "You’re right."
Rachel squeezed his hand gently. "Of course I’m right."
At that moment, Atlas floated forward and clapped his tiny hands once.
[Good. Emotional recovery complete.]
Garion’s eyebrow twitched. "Atlas..."
Atlas ignored him and raised one hand.
[Then I’ll wake Giselle now.]
The air in front of them shimmered.
A small portal opened, glowing with soft pink light.
Garion stopped breathing for a moment.
Rachel’s hand tightened around his.
Dahlia also stared silently.
Then, from within the pink glow, a small girl slowly stepped out.
She had long soft pink hair, bright rose-pink eyes, and delicate features that carried both Rachel’s gentleness and Garion’s stubborn spirit.
Her skin was fair and smooth, her cheeks soft like a child’s, but her gaze was strangely sharp for someone so young.
She wore a small pink-and-black outfit with light purple accents, looking like a tiny princess from some divine family.
A short jacket rested over her shoulders, her long pants were neat and practical, and faint pink light shimmered around her like a warm little aura.
At first glance, she looked innocent, cute and gentle but suddenly she lifted her chin.
Garion froze.
Rachel blinked.
Dahlia’s mouth twitched.
Because that expression...
That smug little smile...
That fearless look in her eyes...
It was exactly like Garion.
Giselle looked around the violent planet, stared at the storms, the poisonous clouds, the mountains, and the distant roaring beasts.
Then she nodded seriously. "Not bad."
Garion stared at her. "Not bad?"
Giselle placed both hands on her small waist and smiled proudly. "Yes. This place looks dangerous, but since Father owns it, it must be mine too."
Dahlia almost choked. "Huh?"
Rachel slowly turned toward Garion.
Garion immediately raised both hands. "Hey, don’t look at me. I didn’t teach her that."
Atlas floated nearby and muttered.
[Bloodline inheritance is terrifying.]
Giselle noticed Atlas and tilted her head. "Tiny wing uncle?"
Atlas froze.
Dahlia burst out laughing. "Hahahaha!"
Atlas’s eyebrow twitched.
[I am not an uncle.]
Giselle nodded wisely. "Then tiny wing grandpa?"
Atlas clutched his chest as if wounded.
[This child is dangerous.]
Garion stared at Giselle for another second.
Then, despite everything, he suddenly laughed. "Hahaha! That’s my daughter!"
Rachel sighed softly, but the smile on her face did not disappear. "She really is your daughter."
Giselle looked at Garion and walked closer with confident little steps.
Then she raised both arms. "Father. Carry me."
Garion’s laughter stopped.
His expression softened instantly.
Without hesitation, he picked her up.
Giselle sat comfortably in his arms, looked around from the higher view, and nodded again. "Good. This height is better."
Dahlia crossed her arms. "Little princess, you’re pretty arrogant."
Giselle looked at her calmly. "I’m not arrogant."
Dahlia raised an eyebrow.
Giselle smiled smugly. "I’m just correct."
Dahlia stared at her.
Then she slowly looked at Garion. "Master..."
Garion grinned proudly. "What?"
Dahlia pointed at Giselle. "She’s you, but smaller."
Garion looked offended. "That sounds like a compliment."
Atlas sighed.
[It was not.]
Rachel stepped closer and gently brushed Giselle’s pink hair. "Giselle."
The little girl turned toward her. "Yes, Mother?"
Rachel smiled warmly. "Welcome back."
For the first time, Giselle’s smug expression softened.
She leaned slightly toward Rachel while still staying in Garion’s arms. "I’m back."
Garion held her a little tighter. His grin remained, but his eyes were warmer than before.
"Yeah," he said softly. "You’re finally back."
Giselle suddenly patted Garion’s shoulder. "Stop this, Father."
Garion blinked. "Stop what?"
Giselle pointed toward Rachel with a serious little expression. "Mother, follow me."
Rachel tilted her head. "Hm?"
Giselle lifted her chin proudly. "You have been asleep for a long time. I already know much about this world, so let me teach you."
Rachel stared at her for a second before smiling softly. "Oh? Then I’ll be counting on you."
Giselle nodded like a tiny teacher.
Then she turned back toward Garion. "And Father."
Garion raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, Princess?"
Giselle smiled smugly. "I already know everything from Grandpa Atlas, so get ready to receive customers."
Atlas froze, hearing that again.
Garion grinned widely. "Of course, Princess Giselle."
