Chapter 468 - 470: "Finding" Is Released to a High Score of 9.4
It’s a wrap! It’s really over. That went by so fast!
Boo-hoo-hoo... I’m so sad to see it end. I feel so wistful. Why don’t you guys just film a few more episodes!
Don’t be sad, everyone. Didn’t the director say this wasn’t the end? Maybe there’ll be a second season or other special programs. Besides, even though Super Mom is over, we can still see them on social media. This isn’t goodbye.
Confetti! Confetti! Thank you to the director for creating such a wonderful show for us, and thank you to all the guests for spending the last few months with us!
I hope all the kids grow up healthy and strong. Looking forward to watching them grow.
I think one of the most amazing things about Super Mom is that all the guests seemed to be genuinely invested. They got along like real friends.
I can’t bear for it to end, I really can’t...
...
The next morning, Naomi Kenway’s family flew back to Veridia with the other guests.
They all talked for a long time before parting, finally saying their reluctant goodbyes.
Liam Sherman was there to pick them up from the airport. "President Shaw, Madam, Young Master, welcome back!" he said.

After filming for "Super Mom" wrapped, Naomi Kenway threw herself into other work. However, she always remembered to make more time for Ian, setting aside one full day each week just to play with him.
With the show over, Naomi Kenway’s social media accounts were flooded with new followers from the show, as well as fans of Ian. Naomi regularly posted photos of Ian as he grew up, and they always received a huge number of comments and shares. Some fans asked for more pictures of her family’s daily life, so Naomi shared even more photos: parent-child activities at kindergarten, picking Ian up from school, a family trip to the amusement park...
Lately, Naomi Kenway had been busy with promotional work for her new film, "Finding," which had been progressively released in major theaters. Her godfather, Anson Colt, was intentionally promoting her. He took Naomi Kenway with him to every promotional event and introduced her to many of his connections—all of whom were heavy hitters in the industry.
"Finding" earned a high score of 9.4 after its release, with countless moviegoers giving it top marks and calling it the most tear-jerking and meaningful film of the year.
I’m giving it a 10. And 10 is the max score on the rating app, not the limit for "Finding." It’s the most moving film of the year. I took my wife and kid to see it, and our whole family came back crying our eyes out.
Elder Colt is as high-caliber as ever. Every time I watch one of his movies, I feel this unique charm, like I’m being transported back to my childhood.
Personally, I feel this film’s style is quite different from Elder Colt’s previous work, but what hasn’t changed is the brilliant quality of the story. Elder Colt is a towering mountain in the world of filmmaking; for so many years, no one has been able to surpass him. It’s both awe-inspiring and a bit sad. I hope we get more good movies like this in the future!
Human traffickers deserve the death penalty! A firing squad is too good for them. They need to suffer before they die. Do they have any idea how much pain and helplessness families who lose a child go through? How can they sleep at night, earning that blood money?!
I heard this was based on the real story of Elder Colt’s daughter and granddaughter. That makes it even sadder. To think such a tragic story is based on real people...
I was so sad after watching this movie. I just sat in the theater alone and cried for a long, long time. And when I found out it was based on a true story... oh my god. Even as an audience member, I’m heartbroken. I can’t even begin to imagine how the actual people involved must have felt, how much pain and despair they must have gone through...
Naomi Kenway’s acting completely blew me away! I didn’t have high expectations at first. For a moment there, I even doubted Elder Colt’s judgment. After watching it, I wanted to slap myself, because I’m totally eating my words now. Naomi Kenway portrayed the character so masterfully. She’s an outstanding actress!
The main cast’s acting was incredible, no doubt about it. Especially Naomi Kenway. The fact that she could perform so well surrounded by so many veteran actors just stunned me. I cried from start to finish watching her performance; I couldn’t help but empathize with her...
A lot of people don’t understand why the protagonist chose to kill herself in the end, saying she didn’t value her own life or whatever. But I think the protagonist had already broken down after her daughter was lost. That child wasn’t just her daughter; she was her reason for living, the person she doted on with all her heart. She spent decades putting up missing person posters. Then, after finally finding her daughter and being overjoyed, she had to face the reality of her daughter’s death shortly after. It’s like the belief that had been supporting her all that time just collapsed. Seeing how much her daughter had suffered must have filled her with heartache, self-blame, and guilt. From the moment her daughter died, that guilt became overwhelming. So, if you haven’t walked in someone else’s shoes, don’t judge them from your high horse.
Just for the fact that the protagonist wasn’t gender-swapped, I give it a 10/10!
Naomi Kenway is such an amazing actress! I love her acting and her expressiveness. She’s a natural-born actor! No wonder Elder Colt took her as his god-granddaughter. She’s truly incredible, just an outstanding person all around!
...
The box office numbers for "Finding" climbed higher and higher, posting a beautiful record, and its ratings were exceptionally high.
Her agent, Laura Grant, called specifically to say, "’Finding’ is doing even better than I expected. What surprised me the most is that your performance was even used as a case study by the Veridia Film Academy. That’s a real recognition of your talent by the industry."
Laura Grant praised her, "This is great. From now on, this will be one of your signature works. The Golden Rooster Awards are in the selection process, and I heard Elder Colt has already submitted the materials. Be patient and wait; something good might happen. You might not win the award, but in my opinion, a nomination for Best Actress is pretty much in the bag."
Naomi Kenway’s voice was also full of delight. "I didn’t expect ’Finding’ to have this much of an impact after its release either."
"With acting skills like yours, you deserve all of this. A lot of directors have reached out with offers for new films. When you come to the company tomorrow, you can see if any catch your eye. I’ve already picked out a few pretty good scripts."
A thought seemed to strike her, and she chuckled.
"With the movie’s box office being so high, you must have made a pretty penny, right?"
Naomi Kenway had invested in the film, and the dividends she’d earned during this period amounted to several hundred million.
"A fair amount," Naomi Kenway said with a smile.
"Excellent, excellent. Acting in a movie isn’t as profitable as investing in one, especially when you’re investing in your own film. That’s an even safer bet." Laura Grant then added a reminder, "Naomi, come to my office tomorrow to look at the scripts. If none of them are suitable, I’ll find a way to turn the others down for you."
